Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Umaria was established in July 2010. The vidyalaya has since then grown under the valuable and resourceful guidance of the VMC, sincere efforts of the staff and the hard work of students. The vidyalaya is located in the midst of the peaceful and serene atmosphere of Umaria city. Kendriya Vidyalaya Umaria fulfils the academic and co-curricular needs of children from various walks of life.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Umaria is a Civil Sector School functioning presently in the temporary building provided by the District Administration Umaria, Madhya Pradesh. Vidyalaya is around 1 km from Umaria Railway Station and around 1.5 km from Umaria Bus Stand. The famous Bandhavgarh National Park of Madhya Pradesh is 28 km from the vidyalaya.
